New Roof

All compatible new roofs have the option of applying a white roof coating in order to reduce heat loads to roof surfaces that are not reflective. When such a reflective roof coating is applied over a newly installed roof, it protects the surface and can extend the life of the roof.

There are belefits to applying a white roof coating to a new roof:

• The coating protects a roof against extreme temperatures and UV radiation by reflecting visible light and preventing UV radiation, which causes heat to shift to building interiors,
• White roof coatings can extend roof system life-cycles
• It results in less waste/no tear off
• White roof coatings provide a more comfortable environment for building occupants
• Energy demands and AC/cooling costs are reduced
